So, where are we headed?

Picture below has our potential roadmap. As part of UC Berkeley MIDS Capstone we delivered a Minimal Viable Product (MVP) that has end-to-end capabilities for patient question answering (green boxes). Please see our demo to get a sense of this patient question-answering in action.
 
As a next step we would like to complete our foundation. Specifically, develop a more robust evaluation; build formal layers for security, compliance, ethical and legal alignment; extend a user authentication and authorization layer; gather feedback from patients and providers using real data.
 
Post that, we would love to develop capabilities for multi-modal ingestion (e.g. patient can upload their medical record PDFs, images) to ask questions; integration with provider and insurance data. This capability expansion will help increase our differentiation in the market.
